Our public company client headquartered in Seattle is recruiting a talented attorney to support its leasing, facility management, operations and retail businesses. This position serves as the primary attorney to several business teams on an ongoing basis. This position structures, drafts, negotiates and counsels the business teams on a broad range of commercial transactions related to commercial leasing, design and construction, equipment procurement, technical services, fulfillment logistics, retail and marketing, and general corporate services. These transactions range from standard contracts to complex, high-dollar-value transactions. This position also provides day-to-day business law counseling; administers and resolves legal issues that arise in existing commercial relationships; and handles pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries.
Ideal candidates will have 4 – 10 years legal experience as a transactional attorney with emphasis in sales, acquisitions and leasing (with at least 3 years in a law firm); tenant representation or in-house experience is a plus. A J.D. degree and membership in one state bar is required. Compensation based on experience and includes equity. The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, enjoy working hard and being challenged, and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.
