Our AMLAW 100 client seeks a junior to mid-level entertainment associate with experience counseling clients and drafting and negotiating agreements in connection with the following.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Content licensing, distribution and syndication across all platforms, protocols and devices (e.g., Internet, over-the-air mobile, television, radio, cable, satellite, etc.); information technology procurement, cloud-based services, SaaS, PaaS and IaaS arrangements; interactive entertainment, including metaverse, AR/VR initiatives, digital media and emerging technology, website and application development, licensing and distribution; social media, gaming and Esports engagements; digital advertising, sponsorship and branding campaigns and ad tech platform transactions.
  • Privacy and cybersecurity in connection with corporate, commercial and technology transactions, including GDPR, CCPA and other state law compliance, data processing addendums, data exploitation, analytics and sharing arrangements; drafting, analysis and audits of privacy policies, procedures, protocols, and tools for compliance with applicable data protection laws and industry best practices.
  • Licensing and exploitation of rights in and to musical compositions and recordings across a wide variety of digital platforms and content, including analysis of necessary rights, master use and synchronization licenses, co-publisher agreements, and performance licenses.

This law firm has an internationally recognized Entertainment, Technology and Advertising Practice.  The candidate must have between 2 and 5 years of digital media/technology/advertising, data privacy, music licensing, IP and commercial transactions experience in order to join the New York office.
