Harris Legal Search has been exclusively engaged by Aristocrat Digital (Product Madness and Big Fish Games) to recruit an experienced and motivated Corporate Counsel, Litigation & Disputes.

The position will be based in Seattle, Washington, and report directly to the Director & Senior Corporate Counsel, Legal.  This role will support the growing and dynamic Aristocrat Digital team.   The ideal candidate is proactive, entrepreneurial and solutions oriented, and enjoys taking on new challenges.


  • Manage outside counsel for class action litigation, consumer litigation, IP litigation, contract and other disputes, and employment matters.
  • Responsible for strategy and legal decisions for regulatory compliance and risk mitigation efforts, ensuring that counsel and company employees understand and implement legal framework.
  • Evaluate existing policies and develop policies that support company’s legal positions.
  • Support the business in formulating and enacting legal requirements.
  • Lead internal fact gathering for litigation and disputes.
  • Collaborate and communicate directly with business clients to provide logical, articulate, and practical business, legal, and risk management guidance on a wide range of matters.
  • Work with other members of the legal team to support product development, including with respect to consumer regulatory compliance.
  • Create and deliver cross-channel educational presentations and tools about relevant litigation issues that are pertinent to the company.
  • Aid in the creation and implementation of internal policies and procedures.
  • Balance multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced industry.


  • Exceptional academic background from a top-tier law school and currently admitted to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction.
  • 3+ years of litigation experience at top regional or national law firm, preferably class action or consumer protection litigation. In-house litigation counsel experience a plus but not required.
  • Impeccable oral and written communication skills, including strong drafting skills.
  • Keen eye for issue spotting across legal disciplines.
  • Ability to simply and clearly provide sound counsel and efficiently drive complex projects in the face of imperfect information and ambiguity with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to react with urgency to situations and events that require a quick response.
  • Passion for continuous learning and professional development, with flexibility and willingness to dive into any projects requiring legal support, such as intellectual property and employment matters.
  • Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
  • High level of professional integrity and discretion when dealing with colleagues and business teams internally, and with third parties on behalf of the company.
  • Excellent, practical judgment regarding business and legal decisions.
  • Leadership style that is straightforward and inclusive.
  • Willing to “roll up your sleeves” to work with other members of the legal team and business clients at all levels of the company to drive strategy and execution of projects and initiatives.
