Harris Legal Search has been exclusively engaged by Carrix, Inc. to recruit an Associate General Counsel with experience in transactions and governance.  The attorney will be based at Carrix’s Seattle, Washington headquarters, and report directly to the General Counsel.


  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of complex commercial agreements.
  • Manage M&A, joint venture, and other business transactions.
  • Manage governance of joint ventures and subsidiaries.
  • Prepare and organize board materials.
  • Advise business leaders and management on legal and business matters.
  • Some domestic and global travel expected.


  • At least four years of sophisticated transactional experience at a law firm.  In-house experience helpful, but not required.
  • Significant responsibility in contractual matters, including drafting and negotiating contracts, interpreting contractual obligations, and resolving disputes.
  • Experience handling commercial financing, M&A, joint venture, and other business transactions. Experience with leasing and other real estate transactions helpful, but not required.
  • Confidence advising company executives and building internal client relationships.
  • Self-starter comfortable working with minimal supervision.
  • Spanish language fluency a plus.
