ELEVATE, a sporting goods manufacturer, has exclusively engaged Harris Legal Search to recruit an Associate Corporate Counsel to assist with drafting, reviewing, and modifying agreements.

Harris Legal Search has been exclusively engaged to recruit an Attorney to help support ELEVATE Outdoor Collective’s legal department.  The Associate Corporate Counsel will primarily partner with the VP – Legal on drafting, reviewing, and modifying agreements. In addition, you will be providing general legal advice to members of their team and assist with corporate compliance initiatives, including product risk management. In this highly visible role, you will have the opportunity to get involved in a wide array of their business operations, including internal process improvements, and partnering with all internal teams as well as direct contact with suppliers.

The successful candidate must be inquisitive, enthusiastic about new challenges, and enjoy consumer product development and manufacturing.

This role is based in Seattle and is hybrid remote.


  • Partner closely with ELEVATE Outdoor Collective employees to understand the company’s technology and business and provide practical legal advice that appropriately balances legal and business requirements.
  • Draft, review and negotiate agreements and contracts covering a broad range of business and commercial topics for the company.
  • Lead compliance focused initiatives and project teams as needed to ensure appropriate oversight.
  • Develop and maintain a library of practical standardized agreements/contract templates for key documents.
  • Lead and guide risk management practices for the organization including insurance related matters.
  • Select, manage, and oversee outside counsel assigned to company litigation matters.
  • Conduct legal and regulatory research as needed.


  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) and admitted to at least one state bar (or equivalent).
  • 2+ years of transactional and/or litigation legal experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven sound judgement and business sense.
  • Highly proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills.


  • 2-4 years’ experience at national or international law firm or In-house experience at a manufacturing or consumer product company.
  • Familiarity with consumer product laws and regulations (e.g., CPSIA, FTC Act).
